Start by raising the problem with the roofer in writing, and keep copies of the contract, the estimate, photos and receipts. One point of Georgia law is worth knowing. If you signed a roofing contract to be paid from an insurance claim and the insurer then denies all or part of that claim in writing, you may cancel the contract within five business days of receiving the denial.
